First Engraving project, Aug 4, 2015

I was given an engraving art set over the weekend and tried it for the first time in my life.
It was fun yet I need to learn more on how to do it as my pressure sometimes a bit too hard and sometimes too light.

Either way, I'll continue to learn and do more fun projects. Here it is the engraving done.
I think it's Elk and it's on 8x10 inches board.

I'm following this painting tutorial by Tim Gagnon called "Fire tree".
This painting is done on 18x36 inches of stretched canvas using acrylic paints.
This painting reminds me of Southern Oregon beautiful landscape with mountain background and blue-green color.
